How to use the template
Fill it in together
Don't fill this in alone before the lesson. The magic happens when the student sees it too. Open it in Preply Canvas and build the plan with them in real time.
Be specific
Don't just say "we'll work on grammar." Say "next time we'll practice how to talk about your weekend plans in past tense." Specific plans make it easy for students to stay committed — and give them something to look forward to.
Let the student shape the plan
Students who help build their learning plan are more invested and more likely to show up. This also shows you care about their goals, not just the syllabus.
